Jakarta, Indonesia — Car Free Day (CFD) activities in the Sarinah area, Central Jakarta, on Sunday (May 3, 2026), offered visitors a unique and exciting experience. Through a collaboration between PiX Creative Mindworks, Prisma Advertising, and Majalah Bobo, the public was introduced to Indonesia’s first digital billboard comic, “Bobo The Origin” Bobo’s latest creation, presented in a motion graphic on MetaLED screen of METALED Djakarta Theater.
This activation went beyond visual content, delivering an interactive experience that combined technology and entertainment in a public space. Visitors were invited to enjoy a variety of engaging activities designed to encourage direct audience participation and engagement.
One of the main attractions of the event was Bounce and Bash, an interactive game developed by PiX Creative Mindworks. In this game, visitors could participate directly using their smartphones as controllers, while the gameplay visuals were displayed in real-time on the giant LED screen. The concept created a collaborative, competitive, and entertaining gaming experience for audiences on-site. Participants also had the opportunity to win attractive prizes by achieving the highest scores.

The First OOH Comic in Indonesia, in Collaboration with Bobo
In addition to the interactive game, visitors were also treated to screenings of “Bobo The Origin,” which was officially launched on April 26, 2026. The legendary comic, known for its nostalgic connection to generations of readers, was adapted into a motion graphic by PiX Creative Mindworks, bringing the story to life through dynamic visuals that feel more relevant to today’s media landscape. The presence of the comic in a digital billboard format marked a new innovation in Prisma Advertising’s Out-of-Home (OOH) media ecosystem.
“The fresh and new graphic novel concept of Bobo The Origin aligns perfectly with the idea of a digital billboard comic and interactive game activation. Bobo The Origin is a story suitable for readers of all ages, especially children and young teens, who are naturally close to creative formats and new interactive experiences like this,” said David Togatorop, Editor in Chief of Majalah Bobo, as well as the story writer and initiator of Bobo The Origin.
As creative partners, Prisma Advertising and PiX Creative Mindworks successfully delivered an activation concept that combined digital technology, creative content, and direct audience interaction. This approach not only captured public attention but also created a memorable experience for visitors in a public setting.
“Through this collaboration, we wanted to bring Bobo The Origin closer to today’s evolving media landscape without losing the character and values that have been attached to Bobo for years. We hope this experience can be enjoyed by both older and younger generations,” said Hari Nurafandi, Head of PiX Creative Mindworks.
This collaboration demonstrates how the integration of motion graphics and interactive games can create new experiences within the OOH industry. Supported by Prisma Advertising’s LED media platform, the comic content and interactive game activation successfully reached and engaged a wider audience.
